Compliance with the Fair Housing Act and Americans with Disabilities Act can be overwhelming, but it is absolutely crucial to effective property management. This document will help you navigate this process with any accommodation/modification request from your residents. Included in the request form is helpful contextual information about the FHA and ADA and how disability and reasonable accommodations are defined by law. There is also an optional Verification section, which residents can provide to a healthcare provider for professional justification of the disability and need for accommodation/modification.
